Rob Tucker Chairman

Rob

Rob’s experience in the finance industry extends over more than 30 years and covers all aspects of lending and debt markets.

His earlier career included experience with the Bank of New South Wales (latterly Westpac) and BNZ Finance, where he held a number of senior positions.  In 1983 he moved into the area of investment and merchant banking with initial focus upon commercial finance broking.  From this base he progressed to achieving significant success in structuring the funding of major property projects and syndications.

In 1992 he acquired a shareholding in a leading residential mortgage broking company, which he subsequently grew to become one of the largest brokerages in the Auckland area.

Rob was a founding committee member and Chairman of the New Zealand Mortgage Brokers’ Association, serving five terms until 2002.  More recently he has lectured at Auckland University’s Commerce Faculty on Advanced Property Finance and Investment.

He has been a director of No8 Mortgages now for 18 months and also is a director of Strata Finance Limited.

 

 

 

David Wolfenden Director

Mr Wolfenden was the long-serving Managing Director of Countrywide Bank (Bank of Scotland subsidiary) before its takeover by The National Bank.

He is currently a Director of a number of companies and not for profit organisations. David’s previous advisory clients include the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank. He maintains his active interest in the NZ financial markets through his directorships of AMI Insurance and Chairmanship of the Foundation Capital Group.

 

 

Prem Maan Director

Prior to setting up Maan Martin Capital Ltd. (“M²C”), Mr Maan was the Head of the Structured Corporate and Investor Products Group for Citigroup for Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Maan has previously also held senior positions (Director, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific Regional Manager Structured Finance) with Banque Indosuez/Credit Agricole Indosuez in NZ, Singapore and Hong Kong and with Deutsche Bank in NZ.

Prem is the Managing Director of the Foundation Capital Group.

 

 

Phillip Wight Non-Executive Director

Mr Wight is actively involved in the private investment and management company in the private equity and venture capital industry.

He is also a director and manager of a private investment company with diversified interests in aluminium joinery, equities, and property development and ownership.

Mr Wight is currently leading a project with Foundation to set up a fund focussing on renewable energy assets.
